Airline security update: all your liquids are (still) belong to us

OK, so the ban on hand luggage has been lifted somewhat - people are now allowed to take on one (teensy) bag of essentials such as reading material and electronics. No such luck for drinks and toothpaste. In fact they still prohibit any kind of liquid, gel, paste, lotion, soup, syrup, perfume, etc... you get the idea.
