From the Sublime...

...to the ridiculous. On my 1 hour morning commute I've been enjoying the insane ramblings of a bald headed Manc idiot. Yes, I've hopped onto the bandwagon that is the Ricky Gervais Show and the internet phenomenon that is Karl Pilkington.

I originally thought (between bursts of laughter that unnerved countless people on the train), there is no way can they keep this up for twelve podcast episodes. Imagine my surprise when I found out they had been doing this for over two years in that "poxy little radio station" Xfm London. For the record, I absolutely believe that Karl is for real, as I've met several Brits who wouldn't bat an eyelash at his pronouncements and wonder what the fuss was about.

Even the New York Times has got in on the act (late as usual) and labeled him "the unlikely harbinger of a technological revolution". Once that sort of pretentious bollox gets thrown around, you KNOW an internet meme has hit the big time.
