update
It's hour 5 of raj's birthday party extravaganza. Miriam, kane, raj, jon, ariel and van are debating the issues of the day - namely more and more politics and philippine issues. I'm having a lot of fun, but am all talked out.
We held the party at our house (all of the alcohol, none of the night bus) and cooked spaghetti, lamb and roast chicken. Anj brought paella. Miriam brought the survey - it was an interrogative on Pinoys living in London, their values and expectations.
If wishes were fishes, then the Philippines would never go hungry. as I mentioned to anj, I'd rather get on with the hard work of keeping my country from self destructing.
