copenhagen part one

Hmm, almost a week since I went to Copenhagen, and I haven't had the spare time to write about it. So I'm sneaking in entries between Friday work.

"It" was a guidebook-perfect city break. Meann and I met at the city airport and booked the B&B near Rosenborg Park. The Danes were true to form, "laid-back, open and friendly". No naked sunbathers though...

Exploring the city itself was almost too easy - Rosenborg Castle, Tivoli, the Stroget, etc... I almost expected to look down and find a conveyor belt where my feet were. The little mermaid statue was a little disappointing (especially as it was the only sight that was more than a half hours' walk away) but the rest of it was cool.

This was the Tivoli amusement park, smack in the heart of the city.

More later, I hope!
