State of rebellion
Well as long as I'm on the subject, here are some updates on the misguided rebellion in the Philippines last week...
The Makati Business Club along with human rights groups are protesting the continued state of rebellion following the uprising. Malacanang (the presidential office) has said it should be lifted sometime soon. My own political leanings aside, I think the government did the right thing here. the threat of rebellion is still a valid one, so why lift it?
A lot of people bemoan the return of military adventurism in the country. Like it ever left.
And, in other news... a funeral company was taken to task for black humor in its ads. I say, the more creative commercials we have out there, the better!
