The rebellion that never was
Only in the Philippines can we have a one-day uprising that evokes not so much anger and discontent, but entertainment value.
Inquirer generously labels it a coup. It was more of a military field trip, where all the troublemakers and unpopular kids banded together to complain about the teachers.
By Tuesday, it wasn't even on the front pages.
