it's TRUE!!!
My inbox greets me this morning with 7 - count 'em - 7 copies of a stupid chain email. FREE FLIGHTS ON BRITISH AIRWAYS. Apparently if you forward this email to 5 others you will get a free return flight between London and Asia. If you send it to 10 (because it's THAT much harder!) you get a free return flight between London and anywhere in the world.
I got the Dolly Francis version with some added Pinoy touches (i.e. more people bestowing their enlightened comments before passing it on)
Chain mail hoaxes never used to bother me. For some reason this free flight thing does. I suppose it has to do with the mentality in the Philippines of "leaving on a jet plane". For many people there is nothing better than being able to escape the country for greener pastures, even for a little while. I actually have relatives and friends who have done TnT - "Tago ng Tago", or hiding from the immigration authorities on a tourist visa while looking for work. I can easily imagine them clicking this garbage onwards for the chance of a free flight.
