So, Monday I got a friendly email from the folks at Dialogue asking how many flybooks I want (see above eye candy). For purely scientific purposes, I asked them to make one available for me. It'll cost USD2000 and will probably bite into what little savings I have left... but you've got to admire that ferrari red cover. And besides, I need my own (personal) notebook anyway. Lugging the Dell around is starting to get tiresome.

Then yesterday one of the shills from computerfutures asked to meet up with me to discuss my "consultancy needs". I told her I'd call her back. She was especially excited about our SAP implementations. I didn't have the heart to tell her we'd source all of our expertise in-house. Something VERY strange going on here. Unless Alex got these sales pitches every week too. I wonder if the psychic network's been busy while I was switching back to an IT role.
